旋轉(zhuǎn)編碼是用于檢測旋轉(zhuǎn)角度及其衍生機械參數(shù)的一類傳感器，包括速度和加速度等，可檢測旋轉(zhuǎn)、直線等傳動運動。由于應用廣泛，現(xiàn)代旋轉(zhuǎn)編碼器可見于諸多機械與自動化工廠中。

**值編碼器可以為每個軸位置提供一個**的碼值。特別是在位置控制中，**值編碼器減輕了控制器的計算任務，并且降低了其他附加的輸入部件的成本。

此外，在電源啟動后或者電源故障，不需要參考驅(qū)動，可獲得當前的準確位置。并行編碼器是通過幾根電源線傳輸數(shù)據(jù)而串行編碼器是通過標準的接口和協(xié)議來傳輸數(shù)據(jù)。

**值編碼器的多種類接口：Parallel Interface；SSI-Interface；AS-Interface；CAN；DeviceNet；Ethernet；PROFIBUS和 PROFINET。

在CANopen, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS和AS-in-terface接口的基礎(chǔ)上，我們擴大了總線型旋轉(zhuǎn)編碼器的產(chǎn)品系列， 帶有EtherNet接口的ESS58系列**值編碼器。

**值編碼器為每個角度位置反饋一個**值的碼值。

**值編碼器具有一個每圈65536步的*大基本精度（16位）。

**值編碼器EtherNet接口支持TCP/IP協(xié)議，整合的webserver提供了Java applets程序，通過任意的網(wǎng)頁瀏覽器都可以對編碼器進行參數(shù)設置。除了精度的調(diào)整，E-mail服務，IP地址的改變， 還有以下操作模式可以選擇：詢問方式；循環(huán)方式；狀態(tài)改變方式。

這個**值編碼器直接安裝在應用軸上，無需任何聯(lián)軸器，通過定子簧片阻止編碼器的旋轉(zhuǎn)。
